Good morning from a warm muggy Hastings. I hope the weather is improving for those up north.
Time for Cee’s challenge at Cee’s Photography.
Last night we had yet another amazing sunset. It lasted forever. I was out taking photos when my daughter arrived home after work. She wanted to visit her friends for one last get together before they all left to go separate ways to different universities. I just didn’t want to stop taking photos. She took a couple too with her cellphone so it wasn’t a complete waste of time waiting for me. In the end I reluctantly got the car out to take her. I made her use my camera to try and take photos while I was driving. By this stage she was getting very annoyed with me and was texting her friends telling them how annoying I was. After yet another stop at Frimely Park to take more photos she got out of the car in a huff to walk the rest of the way to her friend’s house. By this stage it was starting to get dark and there were some boys around so that she got a bit frightened and ran back to the car. So reluctantly I drove her to her friends. Ah the life of a photographer.

This is the photo she took.

I stopped on the way home to take this photo looking south down Pakowhai Road. The sunset had faded a lot by then.

It was so hard to chose which photo to use but I chose this one of looking south down our street.

Thanks for visiting and here you can find out more about this challenge at Cee’s post here
