Good morning from a dark Hastings morning, the sun hasn’t come up yet but it should be a nice day, the camera battery is charging, the bread for the ducks is prepared, so that is where I will be heading after Hubby goes to work.
So welcome back Sally with her challenge.
Being the first Monday in the month it is all about Nature.
I have been having fun with some new apps on my phone and have started an Instagram page – Decocraftsnz. I must say I have been really impressed with the quality of the camera on the IPhone 5S, It zooms in well and is sharp as well. I can use it just as much as I would my Fujifilm.
These first photos were edited with Distressed FX which adds textures and some saturation to photos.
It also adds some glow as well as saturation.
Then Amanda from Unique So Chic kindly told me about this app 100 Cameras for this photo taken on Sunday on the way to Meanee for the car show.
Finally I haven’t forgotten the Waterlogue app either.
It is so much fun playing around with the apps and unleashing the inner artist in me.
Here are some other great posts in this challenge:

You’ve created a marvelous series of nature’s beauty and charm–well done. I’ll look into 100 cameras. Happy Photo Challenge.

Raewyn, you’re having way too much fun with this editing. 🙂 They look great. The first one, though, loses it’s character by being so small. It looked much better when I clicked on it. I think it’s because the color difference are so subtle. As for the 5S, that’s what virtually (so to speak) all my photo come from these days. 🙂

Thanks Janet. I am not sure how I can get larger photos on my post. I was running out of room so had to shrink the photos as well as add the watermark. But I see some other posts where the photos are large so any ideas would be gratefully received. 😀

On my blog, when I upload a photo, the right side show places for caption, title, etc. Below that is a place where you can click a drop-down box for the size of the photo–thumbnail, medium, large (which I use) and original size, I think. See if you have that. I would think that’s a WP thing. Let me know what you find.

Hi there Raewyn from a dark Derbyshire evening. LOL I know that’ll make you smile. 😀
Im so pleased you’ve joined me on Instagram, its great having a buddy on there. Also pleased to see you like my recommendation for 100 cameras, and thank you for the mention too, I really appreciate it. 🙂
I like all your photos but your top photo has me entranced, its like a fairy tale and very mysterious! I messed up this week with my pics, I forgot which pics were camera, and which were iPhone. It’s a good testament to the iPhone when you cant tell the difference though! Great post hun. 😀

Amanda, that is exactly what I thought when I saw that shot… an illustration for a fairytale.

That one is my favourite. I couldn’t believe how it turned out. I use it as my wallpaper on my phone at the moment. 😀

That would make a great wallpaper. I’m kind of funny, I don’t use my own images on my wallpaper, but then my phone case has three…

I must upload these photos to sell as phone cases. My son has promised me to develop an app to sell my images as wallpapers. 😀

I haven’t ever tried the Distressed FX. Now I’m going to have to! The 7th shot down is my favorite. It’s some kind of daisy? Anyway, if you can remember how you did that … I love the effect!

Thanks for visiting and commenting. I am afraid that I can’t tell you how I edited it. I just spend hours playing around with the different filters. The daisy is one of the family of daises. 😀
