Good morning from a battered Hastings this morning.  Yesterday and last night was rather hairy.  Heavy rains and winds.  I am just watching the Breakfast Show on TV and the storm has definitely left it’s mark around the North Island.  So I hope everyone is safe and warm.  Apparently it was worse than Cyclone Bola in1988.  I wasn’t here for that as I was in London but it was not pleasant here at all.

Anyway onto something different.  Jennifer’s One Word Photo Challenge is Eggplant.  My photo isn’t the rich eggplant colour but it is the best I could find.
