Good morning from a sunny Hastings. This week the temperature should get up to what it normally is for this time of the year. That means I can pop out and take more photos around our home.
My peg thingy post last week must have tickled the fancy of Cee as she has featured it on her roundup this week. Thanks so much Cee.
Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: Week 37
This week I have gone for something I try to do every day. Puzzles – with letters, not numbers. I do them online when I have time with our local newspapers or else I get a huge book 4 times a year and it takes me 3 months to do. This page had me stumped for the last 2 words for about 3 hours.
When I was a child my mother used to buy this Australian magazine – The Australasian Post. In the back there was this full page crossword puzzle. My father, my twin sister and I used to compete for this magazine to do it. I have tried to do cryptic crosswords but sometimes they are just too cryptic for me to work out. At least with most of these puzzles the answers are at the back.
There are competitions to enter in this book so I do those puzzles first and send off my entry form. So far I have had no luck.
