Welcome to this new challenge by Robyn at Captivate Me
At her blog you will find out more about participating in this challenge. It is about having fun with editing. Which I most certainly do.
This first image is from Week 1.
Week 2 was edited in Snapseed.
Week 3 was edited in Photoshop Express with the carmine filter.
And for my final edit I went to Distressed FX to give it some warmer tones.
And here is the original image:
As you can see it has changed a fair bit from the original.
“Go and make interesting mistakes, make amazing mistakes, make glorious and fantastic mistakes. Break rules. Leave the world more interesting for your being here.”
Neil Gaiman
Here are some of the other great works of art to check out.

I have tried to add a poll so we will see if I am successful.
Thanks for visiting.
The warmer tones in your distressed image of week four is my favourite but I like all other weeks as well. I am going to use this challenge to hopefully give me an excuse to improve my use of editing programs.

Thanks. I use my iPad a lot just to play with photo editing apps. There is such a great choice now and the results are amazing. Great when there isn’t much on TV. 😍

Raewyn, it’s amazing how much you were able to change the image each week. I much prefer your first week. The soft tones just add so much delicacy to the image that it seems to work. But all of them were intersting and exciting to see what you’d come up with!

Glad I am not forced to pick a favorite. They are all interesting. 🙂 But I will bend anyway and say I like the brownish one best.

This is a great challenge. I also use snapseed a fair bit but the other apps are new to me, so thank for introducing me. I think you have chosen a fabulous photo here for editing. The original is still stunning but I rather like the first, and voted for that, based on my liking for artworks of this nature. You really have an eye for a great photographic shot. Just perfect framing!

It does help. Though I do find that editing brings out something different every time. I already have next month’s line up. 😀
