One Four Challenge: December Week 1

14 Snapseed (640x485)

Good morning from a very cold but sunny Hastings.  Yesterday was the official start of summer, but somehow nature decided to bring back winter so it rained and the temperature dropped.

Anyway onto this great challenge by Robyn at Captivate Me

http://robynsfineart.wordpress.com/2014/12/01/one-four-challenge-dec-wk-1/

For this month I chose this photo.  The original will be shown in the 4th week with a poll.

So for the first round of editing I headed to my favourite app – Snapseed and added my usual filters – Drama, HDR and Old lens.  I find that they define the image and add a bit more clarity before heading to other apps.

About the challenge and how it works:

This challenge is about processing 1 image in 4 differeneet ways over 4 weeks.
We will all  process / post edit (our own chosen image) and share a different version each week.
Process it however you like… and tell us a bit about it. You don’t have to show the original image unless you’d like to.  (I’m going to show mine in week 4 along with the 4 variations from the month).
Try new things, experiment.  Be as creative or subtle as you wish to be.
Each week starts again on Monday (Aussie time) and closes off the following Sunday (at the end of the day), so there is a whole week for you to create your post, link up here and tag your post.
This is a perpetual challenge. We will do the 1st four Mondays of the month.
If there are 5 Mondays in a month – we’ll still only post on 4.

  1. Raewyn, I made it 🙂
Your link was leading back to my own blog… lol
I really like your image again for this month – love the fine detail that you’ve brought out in it and it does have a wintery feel.
    Hope you’re staying warm!!
Our temps dropped for a couple of days too, but summer is back in full force today.

Tag: Wonder if you’d mind changing your tag to simply read One Four Challenge – presently you’re not coming up in Reader and I think you’ll get more visits that way. thanks.
Onward into another fun month 🙂
