Good morning from a grey Hastings morning.
A Christmas theme today for the prompt from the Daily Post:

Hastings has brought out their decorations for Christmas.
We have Father Christmas flying past the Westermans building.
And 5 of these silver trees adorn the fountain in the CBD are the total amount of decorations to celebrate Christmas. A bit on the scrooge side I reckon.
But my neighbour is determined that we wont forget his house this year.
We all have Christmases long gone that we remember with fondness, while there are others we would rather forget, but somehow are never forgotten.
Cheerio Young Man, Good Day Mr Middle Age…

We don’t have any outside decorations but our neighbors have lots and all very tasteful, thankfully!

I initially was kind of jealous of the blue sky, but no. I’ve decided I love the cold and had my scarf on yesterday and it’s the first time I’ve worn it in a year and it smelled like last years aftershave still. Love winter!

I have tried to go lightly with the decorations this year. But they are such a delight once they are up. Happy Advent!
