One Four Challenge: December Week 3

Here is my third part of this challenge for December for Robyn’s challenge and Captivate Me:

For this week I added some texture with the Distressed FX app with the Lily and Charm filters,

I have seen some amazing transformations with other bloggers and all their complicated work in Lightroom and Photoshop.  I don’t have either one of them so rely on apps which means I don’t have such control over the changes so I just go by how I feel about the photo. But it is a lot of fun for me and that is what is important for me.  It is magic to me and that is what captivates me (sorry Robyn).

This was last weeks image.  As you can see I have added some warmth to the image with the charm filter.

Phoneography Challenge: Black and White: Black Roses

Good morning from another cool Hastings morning.

My best wishes go out to those in Sydney who were involved in the hostage drama yesterday.  I was so shocked to see something like this happen in Sydney – our neighbour so to speak.  Anyway I hope that all those affected by this can get all the help they need to recover from this.

Maybe I must have known something as I chose black and white roses for this challenge by Sally:

These are miniature roses found in a corner of my garden.  I went out after the rain had stopped to see what I could find.
