Good morning from another warm and sunny Hastings.
These photos were taken on New Year’s Day. There are not as many ducklings this year compared to last year. But I managed to catch these adorable new ducklings.
I am moving to the other side of town so will have to make the effort to go to Cornwall Park to take photos. So I will. It is my oasis in the middle of our city and of course I just love listening to the birds singing as it calms the soul.

Thanks Joe. Yes they are protective and they quack constantly in a certain way to keep their babies close by. 😀

They really are sweet. There was a park in the small town where I grew up. If we were good, we could go there and feed the ducks. A real treat. 🙂
