Good morning from a cool but sunny Hastings morning.
Yesterday I helped my parents with their stand at the Clive fair and car show. It was freezing for being in February and we had some rain. Luckily I had checked the weather forecast and had dressed in warm clothes. I would not have won any fashion contests, but I was warm. I think the cold kept people indoors and it was a very low key event and for once my father didn’t sell much.
Today my son starts his course at the local community college (for those in America) and I wish him all the best. He is nervous about it but will soon settle in.
Yesterday when it was quiet I would wander around the stands with my cell phone. I get itchy fingers when I see so much I want to take photos of. I had a laugh when I saw this sign for moonshine. I think it was just some fruit or vegetable juice. But those bottles don’t look good. Ah, I thought. Great for Cee’s challenge this week.
