WPC: Last of the summer blooms

Good morning from a warmish sunny Hastings day.

This morning KRISTA from The Daily Post has asked us for our off season photos. I had to think about this one.  Then I saw that I had a lot of withered roses.  They are well past the optimum blooming season and now are showing signs of the changing, colder weather.

They are still beautiful in their own way.

The gerberas are also showing signs that the summer season is ending, and the nights are getting colder.

A Photo a Week Challenge: Splish, splash I was taking a bath

Nancy from nancy merrill photography has asked us for our action shots.

This cute sparrow was taking a bath at a smaller pond at Cornwall Park.  I did think of embarrassing my children by digging out some action photos of my children when they were younger.  But went for this instead.
