My mother collected driftwood and turned it into art and furniture. We had a driftwood coffee table, driftwood statues, driftwood everywhere. She would never have left such a lovely specimen for the ocean to eat. It would have found a home with us. Somewhere. Nice work!

Thanks. My parents used to collect small bits of driftwood and polish them up to make jewelry. I still have a necklace that they made for me in 1972 – it is written on the box.
