Good morning from a sunny Hastings day. Yesterday was spring like – very warm for this time of the year. Apparently today the weather will turn to custard. Snow is predicted over the North Island.
Yesterday I was talking to a friend in the sun when I noticed this ladybird scurrying along the wooden table. So it was an immediate stop to the conversation and the cellphone came out. I haven’t seen a ladybird for years – since my children were little. So just had to search for the poem that we always sang as children. There are several versions which go back to 1744. I wonder where or who made this poem up. Great though, for Sally’s great challenge for our mobile devices hosted by Lens and Pens by Sally
I did edit this in Lightroom, Photoshop and then Photoscape for the frame. This is also part of the 3 Days, 3 Quotes challenge – thanks to Jennifer from Jennifer Nichole Wells who has nominated me for this. As part of the challenge I get to nominate others. But I think most of the bloggers I know have already done it so I will just say that if anyone wants to do it then they are welcome to.
