This is such a gorgeous photo of my daughter at her first Easter at 6 months old. I had washed her hair the night before and she woke up with it sticking up. My mother had crocheted her gorgeous outfit.
When my children were babies I used to just sit and watch them sleeping, unable to believe that I had children. Now it is hard to believe that Ruth is now 20, and my son is nearly 19 and well over 6′ 2″.
This is post is for Nancy’s challenge:

Lol. She is a stunner now – with masses of red edgy hair. She had her first hair cut just after this photo.

This is such a beautiful photo! I had to smile at your comment about watching the children sleep. My boy-child wasn’t a sleeper and while one part of me wanted to watch over him on the odd occasions when he slept; the other part was almost superstitiously afraid that if I looked at him he’d wake!

Or, when he was asleep you needed your sleep too.
This was originally a physical photo that I had developed and printed myself. Now with digital processing I can finally get the affect I wanted.

A gorgeous photo. I was another “sleeping baby watcher” I couldn’t believe I could have created such an amazing little person.
