Good morning from a windy spring day in Hastings.
This week Nancy from nancy merrill photography has given us the prompt of soft photos.
Yesterday I went to this wonderful little oasis just down from Cornwall Park with my Social Snappers group. This is a small rose garden with lots of different old fashioned roses and other plants. I was in seventh heaven again, taking nearly 1000 photos. Then I had the challenge to find out what the names of some of the plants are. These cinerarias were such a gorgeous lavender colour and the petals not in focus blended to make such a beautiful background to these bees.

Just going about his busy day doing bee things. I wake up, get up and just start doing my busy bee things…….and whammy! Something always gets in the way. lol It would be nice to have one calm, soft day. Beautiful and relaxing colors. 🙂

Thanks. It was a very windy morning so it was a matter of just grabbing what I could. Thus the high number of photos

I don’t know how you got the bee to sit still long enough. lol That’s my problem when taking pictures, nobody want to wait………for me to figure out how to use the camera. 😦

We are getting 5 to 8 inches of snow tonight…this flower is gorgeous…the bee is beautiful as well. I miss summer and winter just started. Sigh.

Thanks so much Gigi. It is getting very warm here, not uncomfortable yet – but the start of summer is next week.
