Good morning from a cool but sunny Hastings day.
This week Krista from The Daily Post has asked us for our photos of gathering. It is that time of the year when families will be gathering together to celebrate the holidays.
Share with us your interpretation of “gathering.” It could be your entire family decked out in ugly holiday sweaters. It could be a group of seagulls strutting down the beach. Perhaps it’s a basket of fresh herbs you’ve collected from your garden for that awesome pasta dish this evening.
So I found these photos of a mother mute swan with some of her babies coming up to the edge of the pond.
She had an important date…..
With her mate.
He was very fierce about defending his little family.

Thanks for visiting.
How could anyone not like this gathering?

Very true. Love swans but man, they can be scary when protecting their family

Love swans, love the photo. I wonder why they were there and what purpose the gathering served. Maybe it was a “school” field trip. 🙂 ❤
