Good morning from a wet, windy and rather stormy Hastings day. The humidity is high and so will be the temperature for the next couple of days – hard going.
Anyway it is on to Sally’s challenge set byLens and Pens by Sally where we showcase our mobile photography.
My photos today were taken at the end of last year at Otane Market. There was an elderly gentlemen who was selling some clothes and these gorgeous childrens shoes. While he was wandering around I sneaked these photos on my iPhone 6S.
Both were edited in Snapseed ( while I was waiting for the doctor last week) and really suit the monochrome and grunge affects.
Thanks for visiting
Raewyn, indeed, the images work so well in monochrome. They project a vintage character that evokes their ages. Nicely captured and processed. Happy Photo Challenge.

Absolutely love the retro feel here, Raewyn. That feel is, in my opinion, perhaps the thing you do the best.

There is something special about children’s shoes, well done

They look wonderful. Kids shoes stand for growth and leaving things we no long need, behind.
