Good morning from a cool but sunny Hastings day.
This week Cee Neuner has asked us for our Freeway, Expressway and Highway photos.
So what can I show, but Highway 2 between Hastings and Otane. These photos are what I see every Sunday when I go to the market. I have included a map of Hawke’s Bay

It lifts my soul when I drive down. But the only problem is that I want to stop and take photos all the time. For this day Martin, my son had driven down with me – we needed a strong man to help us with the market. This meant that I could take some photos.

Love the editing these. I feel all nostalgic for “old NZ” (ie. my childhood). I’ve just spent a couple of days in the Waikato and loved the big skies and green fields everywhere. I think I’m starting to love small town NZ again.
