Good morning from a cool but sunny Hastings day. No wind, a fantastic sunrise to start the day and the golden hour was so rich. With that you can tell I was out taking photos in my pjs as usual. I had just woken up, looked out the window and I was a goner. Such is the life of a photographer. Sigh. I love the golden hour in autumn, the colours are so much richer.
But onto monochrome now. This week Cee has asked us for some photos of tongues or tails. I couldn’t really find any tongues so here are some tails.
First up is the tail of the tuatara. As you can see it didn’t like me taking portraits so decided to head back into his hole.
Then there is this kangaroo using it’s tail for balance.
And these last two images are of a small parrot taking just washing it’s tail feathers in the water.
I must dash. I will be getting to Stonycroft this week. And the weather is perfect. Phew.
