Good morning from a cool but sunny Hastings day. Thanks goodness, as I will be taking my Social Snappers group to a new park that the council has just opened up. It is great exploring just what is around my town.
This week Cee has given us an open topic for our black & white images. Normally, when I am doing my Monochrome of the Day I do a full series – the number of images depends on how many I like. At the moment, though, I am rather busy so am doing them every day. So this morning i have done a series of monochrome camillias that I shot at the Stonycroft Homestead. I have used the same filter set in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2. I do love the vintage effects. Anyway I am going for the noir filters and also the pinhole effect.
So these first two are the noir images. I also did a little more tweaking in the camera raw filter.
This was also the noir filter. Rather dramatic.
And this is the pinhole filter.
So what else can I show but my blooms for this open topic.
