When I read what Nancy’s prompt was this week I knew exactly what photos to use.
Every week when I drive down to Otane it is hard for me to concentrate on my driving.
This day I just had to stop and take photos. I wasn’t the only one. There was another photographer who had stopped as well. I think he was on a mission that day to make the most of this magical sunrise.
I am only 5 minutes away from the country, yet only 5 minutes from the CBD. The best of both worlds.
A Photo a Week: In the Country
Good morning from a cool but sunny Hastings day.
This prompt is a hard one for me. Hard, because it was difficult to chose which images to use. Jen H. wants us to focus on the details.
For this week’s challenge, try to look past the big picture and take a more intimate approach. Zoom in on details in unexpected places — it can be something from the natural world, or it can be human-made. We’re excited to see what you find with your lens.
So where to start.
Raindrops are always a popular detail for me.
Especially on spider webs.
Then freezing the movement of water to focus on where it came out of the fountain.
