Good morning from a cool but sunny Hastings day.
We are nearing the end of winter. Next week will be the first day of spring. But it is still cool. Especially when I go down to Otane. One of the stall holders, Ray, produces wrought iron products. One of his most popular products is this brazier. So when it is cold, but no wind, he lights it to keep the stall holders and visitors warm outside.
This is a photomontage of about 4 photos together to give a feeling of movement. Ray couldn’t understand why I kept taking close ups of the flames.
This week for Sally’s challenge, being the 4th Monday, it is Challenger’s Choice (Pick One: Abstraction, Animals, Architecture, Food Photography, Night Photography, Objects, Panorama, Portraiture, Photomontage, Still Life, Street Photography, and Travel). Sally has now added photomontage to our choices. There is so much fun to be had when using multiple images.
So my image was edited with Pixlr. I thoroughly recommend this free app. So much fun and choices with it’s filters.

Really lovely photo, Raewyn. I’ll have to try Pixlr again, my last attempt being not too successful. You’ve created a wonderful effect.

Thanks so much. Pixlr is very easy to use. The only thing when using multiple images is not being about to control the sizing and feathering so much as in Photoshop. Have another go.
