Last week New Zealand got the tail end of Cyclone Debbie, after it had hit Queensland. The day after the rain stopped I went out to discover the damage. I was surprised by the weather – perfect blue skies and no wind. The water had started to recede quite a bit but there were pockets of water around which showed up some fantastic reflections.
We are now into autumn and the light was perfect.
Now New Zealand is bracing itself for another cyclone – Cook. This time we have been told that it is a massive storm which you can read about here. So far, where I live we are not too bad.
So to all the New Zealand bloggers – keep dry and safe.
