Cee’s Oddball Photo Challenge: Feeding the Birds Week 41

Tea time for the birds (482x640)

Good morning from a cool cloudy Hastings morning.

I have a new neighbour who creates her own jewelry from old silver cutlery.  Her work is amazing.  Anyway she also makes these bird feeders out of old cups and saucers.

I think it is adorable and a fun way to feed the birds.  She sits there, just like I do and watches and listens to them.  The birds are too fast now for her to take photos, just as they are for me.  They now know where the bread is to be found.

Michelle’s Weekly Pet Challenge: Birds chorus in the sunset.

Birds in a tree 1 (640x477)

A bird theme today.  Last night was such an amazing sunset.  And the birds were out in full force.  If you look closely at this top photo you will see a lot of birds which I just managed to catch before a car drove by and disturbed them.  They were very loud and added to the  ambiance of the awesome sunset.

???????????????????

They have been really noisy anyway, being spring.

Cee’s Black and White Challenge: Small Objects

DSCF8985

Good morning from a cool but dry Hastings morning.

This week the prompt  from Cee for this challenge is small objects.

I used ColorStrokes for the black and white editing as I like the fact I can do different lighting affects.  For all these photos I have used the dreamy affect which makes the textures show up a bit more and make the subjects stand out against the background.

Some more mushrooms.

A magnolia seed pod (?) I found on the ground.

Another leaf.

I have used this photo as I love the silhouette of the birds in the tree.
