Cee’s Oddball Challenge: Week 9

DSCF7089

Good morning from a grey Monday here in Hastings.

Winter is slowly coming upon us now and the nights are definitely cooler.

Sooooo, it is time for Cee’s challenge again.  I can’t believe that the week has gone so fast.  Anyway I found this Australian padlock on the fence surrounding the tennis club grounds in Hastings, New Zealand.  Where it came from I would not know but it certainly was an odd thing to see.

Cee’s Oddball Challenge: Week 8

Untitled

It is amazing to think that this is week 8 of this fabulous challenge by Cee.

I found these shoes by the patio door at my parents house.  They had obviously been sitting there quite some time as they were very dusty.

Good morning from a cooler Hastings.

I love this challenge by Cee and was this week honoured to be featured in her round up.

So this week I have chosen the two oldest students in the world.  This was a great couple I met at the vintage car parade for the Art Deco festival in February.  They were great with a wonderful sense of humour and spent the whole time posing.

Cee’s Oddball Challenge: Week 6

Last week I had to take my parents to a large home renovation store and to fill in time I whipped out my cellphone and embarrassed my parents by taking photos.  Not to mention upsetting a few of the staff.  Well there were so many things that were so interesting.

This was a rope dog in a bucket.  Cute.

Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge Week #5

DSCF4053

Good morning from Hastings.  We are now going into winter so it is dark when I get up so I can’t say what the weather is anymore.  I noticed that England are heading into summer time this weekend. I think next weekend will see us heading back into winter time.  We have a very long summer time period which is great but means that it is hard when we do change.

Anyway I love this challenge by Cee.  I was the first to post for it but that was  a while ago now. She has now changed it to a Sunday and here is some info from her blog for those who want to take part.

Announcement on Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge

This photo is of these pots from my mother’s garden.  One of the hardest things about having a broken arm.  Not being able to use the camera.  I did use it when the light was bright and I could have a fast shutter speed.  This was taken one handed so I could get my foto fix.
