Phoneography: Nature’s beauty
Good morning from another sunny Hastings day.
Another month has gone by and we are back to nature photography for Sally’s challenge:
We have such a lovely show of these deep purple irises at the moment and I can’t take enough photos of them. Â These I took just as I got up this morning as the light was more muted. Â Now as I look out the light is much stronger now.
Edited with GIMP and Photoscape.

It is a big day for me. Â My big teenage son has his leavers dinner tonight and finishes school on Thursday. Â He just has to complete his final exams and then he is free. Â He turns 18 in January and has been accepted at our local community college – EIT to do a degree in computer systems. Â I am so proud of him getting this far and has done so well, considering he has dyslexia and had received no help at all at his high school.

Floral Friday: miniature iris.
Yesterday as I was doing my blog I noticed this iris coming into bloom. It was rather fast. It seemed that one minute it was a small bud, and the next it was fully open.
