One Word Photo Challenge: Tornado

Ominous Clouds-087

This week Jennifer over atJennifer Nichole Wells has asked us for photos with tornadoes.  It doesn’t have to be an actual tornado, but how you feel during a tornado or what you would do to keep safe. Thankfully here in New Zealand we rarely get tornadoes.  It is always heartbreaking to see the devastating damage done by them.

So I did a search of my photos.  Then I found this one.  It was taken a couple of months ago with my social snappers group.  It was an amazing sky that day and it does look like a tornado and it was a very windy day so I thought that this would go well with this prompt.

Dramatic Skies-8918

These photos were taken last night.  I noticed that we had some dramatic clouds and raced out to take photos with both my iPhone 5S and my Nikon.

These were edited with both Snapseed and Aviary.

Skies over Te Mata Peak-7606

A couple of days ago Nancy from nancy merrill photography asked us for our perfect skies.

I found this photo of Te Mata Peak taken with my iPhone 5S from Pakowhai Park earlier this year.
