Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Black & White Impressions at Arataki Honey Farm

Honey jar-003

Good morning from a frosty Hastings day.

The third week of the month is black & white for Sally’s challenge over at Lens and Pens by Sally.  This challenge is using our mobile devices – tablets and phones.  When my Social Snappers group went to Arataki Honey Farm I got out my iPhone 5S to grab a few photos as well.  There was so much to see and take photos of.

I loved this honey jar shaped like a bee hive.

Scales-004

And this polished bowl on the scales has a honey comb shape on one side.

All these have been edited with Snapseed.

I won’t be able to visit all your blogs this morning so will catch up with everyone later today.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. The honey pot is a gem. I find it draws me into the lore of honey and the thoughts of it filled with that luscious treat. Makes me think about Pooh Bear. Works so well in monochrome to evoke those emotional responses. Happy Photo Challenge.
