Good morning from a warm soggy Hastings day. Our country got a bit battered last night – lots of wind and rain for us. We got the same storm that hit Sydney on Sunday. We were okay here in Hastings but Wellington and Auckland got hard hit. So thinking of you today.
Last week, after coming home from the park I was uploading my photos and recharging my camera when I noticed this cat just sitting watching my house. This is weird as I am constantly finding cats either sitting or lying around in just this particular area. I don’t know why, it is just that one spot. I adore cats, one is either a cat person or a dog person. I am most definitely a cat person and seem to attract stray cats. They seem to sense a cat lover a mile off.
Anyway I grabbed my cell phone and took these photos.
As I was watching from inside another cat came creeping past. Very carefully. Very carefully.
The grey cat was literally tip toeing past the ginger cat. The ginger cat didn’t even budge.
The grey cat then walked off.
It was fascinating watching this stand off.

I absolutely love what Meg does using her phone. Her work is amazing so check her photos out at:

Thanks for visiting.
Nice capture–maybe they had a conflict management class. I’m sending you some of our chilly spring temps. We experience high humidity in the summer. So we savor the coming of spring and all that it represents. Happy Photo Challenge from the East Coast, USA.

We are up and down at the moment – one day cold and then the next day hot. Can’t work it out. Thanks for visiting Sally

One more reason for smart phones. they’re there for these moments!!!

I should have taken a lot and put them in a slide show. But I noticed a little to late. It was so funny to watch.

What a story in those photos! Talk about a fat cat. Glad you came out of the wind in good shape. I guess in view of the earthquake in Nepal, high winds aren’t too bad.

I know. The earthquake is huge news here, especially as some of their search and rescue crew came here to help with our earthquake in Christchurch. It really does put things into perspective.
